Harambee’s contribution:  $10,000 (2 year commitment)

Started by the Ivrea Sisters in 2014, this school in the Diocese of Homa Bay works with neglected children, particularly those who are HIV-positive. The school supports the children’s emotional, mental and social well-being by providing education, skills training and health programs. It seeks to build and operate a chicken farm to help meet strong local demand for poultry products while generating income and creating jobs for some recent graduates.
